WELCOME RECEPTION

The Welcome Reception will be held on Friday 25 August from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the Panorama Foyer. Please see the registration desk to see if there are still places available.

CONFERENCE DINNER

Enjoy a night to remember at the 2023 ADIPS ASM Conference Dinner. This multi-functional, immersive space has 50 square metres (that’s 14 million pixels!) of LED screens that will transport you to anywhere in the world, real or imagined! 

Venue: The Lab ‘Light ADL’ 
Dress Code: Smart Casual 
How to Get There: 10 to 12 Minute Walk or; 3 minutes in the car 
Walk with Friends: Want to walk as a group? Meet us in the Panorama Foyer at 6:40pm to walk together. We will leave at 6:45pm. 

SPECIAL MEAL REQUESTS

If you have nominated for a special meal (dietary requirements, vegetarian, etc.) please identify yourself to the hotel staff. All requests have been passed onto the hotel and will be catered for accordingly.

SPEAKER PREPARATION

Presentations are to be uploaded by the AV Technician within City Suite 2 prior to your session. You should bring your talk on a USB, saved in a format for display on a PC within the room. An AV technician will be available in the room to assist with transfer / loading issues. Please note; City Suite 2 is only open from; 

Friday 25th August - 12:30PM – 4:00PM 
Saturday 26th August - 6:30AM – 10:00AM 
Sunday 27th August - 6:30AM – 10:00AM 

Alternatively, you can load it directly in the Panorama Rooms 1,2 & 3 

POSTER VIEWING 

Posters will be displayed from 12:30PM on Friday 25th August to Sunday 27th August.
All posters must be taken down after afternoon tea on Sunday 27th August. The approved way of attaching your poster is with Velcro, which will be provided on your poster board. 

There will be 1 dedicated poster judging session - Poster Session One: Friday 25th August, 5:30PM – 7:00PM. 

POSTER JUDGING 

Moderated poster presentations will occur concurrently during the welcome function.  The judges for the poster presentation will assess the posters and listen to the brief verbal presentations in sequence. 

Conference delegates can choose to follow the judges or view the posters independently at their discretion. 

NAMETAGS

Delegates and registered partners are required to wear their nametags to all scientific and catered sessions. 

MOBILE DEVICES

As a courtesy to the speakers and your fellow attendees, please switch your mobile device(s) to silent while attending the sessions. If using a mobile device (phone, tablet, or camera) to take non-flash photography during Meeting sessions, please be courteous to fellow attendees and refrain from blocking the view of those seated behind you.

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in the venue.
