On behalf of the organising committee and the Society, we are delighted to welcome you to Adelaide for the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS) 2023. Over the next 3 days from August 25^th - 27^th, the Adelaide Convention Centre will host pre-eminent international and national clinicians and researchers in the field of diabetes in pregnancy, providing you an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and review emerging technologies and new research.

The overarching theme of the meeting is ‘Diabetes and pregnancy- Preconception to birth and beyond’.

We are proud to host our international speakers – Keynote speaker Assoc. Prof. Marie-France Hivert from Harvard Medical School, Assoc. Prof. Chris McKinlay from University of Auckland and the prestigious Norbert Freinkel Award winner Prof. Helen Murphy, from University of East Anglia.

The scientific program offers a rich variety of subjects, to explore multiple aspects of caring for women with diabetes in pregnancy. It also offers the opportunity to participate in workshops- Automated Insulin Delivery in Pregnancy, CGMS in pregnancy and the Early GDM workshops to cap off the meeting.

The social program provides you opportunities to network with like-minded people and explore and experience the sights and sounds of our beautiful city, Adelaide.

The program that has been put together has taken countless hours of working behind the scenes to provide you a rich intellectually stimulating experience. We hope you find it adds value to your practice and research.
