Heterogeneity of Gestational Diabetes: Paving the Path for Precision Medicine (#30)
Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a heterogeneous condition. Deciphering the underlying etiologic factors determining different subtypes of GDM will allow clinicians to refine diagnosis of GDM, target approaches for treatment during pregnancy, and hopefully improve maternal-child outcomes in the short and long-term.
