Dr Sarah Price (MBBS (H1), FRACP, PhD, DipRANZCOG, DCH, Cert Ob Med) is an Obstetric Medicine Physician and Endocrinologist. She is the Director of Obstetric Medicine at the Royal Women’s Hospital and an Endocrinologist at Royal Medicine Hospital. She is a past President of the Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS).
Dr Price was awarded a PhD from the University of Melbourne for her thesis titled ‘Health consequences for mother and baby of substantial preconception weight loss in women with obesity’. She is an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow, and currently leads the Obstetric Medicine Research Group at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include the management of metabolic diseases in women before and during pregnancy and the transgenerational transmission of metabolic disease.
